Nosh & Drash
Students in Grades 5, 6 and 7 will prepare a D’var Torah twice a year based on an assigned Torah portion. In Grade 7, students will present one of Rashi or Rambam’s rabbinical interpretations. This exciting new program will enhance our students’ knowledge of Torah and develop their public speaking skills.
M & M Awards
M & M does not stand for “chocolate” in Hebrew School, but rather the Hebrew words for “Midot,” which is virtues and “Mitzvot,” which are Torah commandments. Students will be recognized thought-out the year as they perform each Mitzvah and who model exceptional characteristics and important Torah values.
Virtual Tours of Israel
Just because we’re stuck at home doesn’t mean we can’t explore the holy land! We’ve come up with an amazing opportunity for our students to have a guide take them around Israel virtually. The kids will have the opportunity to “walk around” Tel Aviv, see the Shuk, and speak with an Israeli currently living in Israel who can teach them and provide a more immersive experience of the country!
